About Nico *

Nico Matagne grew up without a fixed address.

Born in Belgium, raised across fifteen countries — Ethiopia, Sudan, Uganda, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and more — he developed the kind of cultural fluency that doesn't come from a classroom. It comes from learning to read rooms, adapt quickly, and find common ground with people who see the world completely differently.

That instinct is now the foundation of everything he makes.

Nico works across photography, event production, and music content — between Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, and wherever the next project lands. His work spans independent cultural events, artist EP campaigns, music videos, and editorial photography — projects that tend to start with a conversation and end with something that didn't exist before. In 2025, he conceived, produced, and ran Art Jam — a live painting and music event built in fifteen days from scratch, drawing 170 people to a community bar near the RAW-Gelände, 12K+ impressions across social platforms. It was his first fully self-produced event. It won't be the last.

Before that, Nico completed a Social Media Management internship at Design Hotels GmbH in Berlin — working on content curation and digital strategy for one of the world's most distinctive hospitality brands. His manager described him as someone who brought "creativity and initiative" to every task and "worked independently" to contribute to real digital outcomes.

As a musician under the name TCK Niyko and a photographer, he shoots on film and records music that carries the same cross-cultural instinct running through everything else he makes.

Nico is currently open to roles and collaborations in creative production, brand content, social media, events, and music — particularly with brands and artists who treat culture as more than a backdrop.
